The "Shasta Meet" is actually two separate events. It began as the Datsun Roadster Association West-Coast Meet, then was opened up in 1994 to include all Nissans.
The meet was held at the ski lodge parking lot up on the mountain, where the roadster meet had always been held in town at one of the city parks.
A short time later, the roadster portion split off and went back to a city park.
I try to attend both events, but it makes it challenging. Personally, I'd like to see it recombine. Most of the pictures I have here are from the roadster meet.
While there have been Shasta Meets that drew more roadsters than this year (reportedly 67 cars), I don't remember a show
where the quality of the cars was this uniformly high. It is really gratifying to see so much interest being generated for these unique and historically significant cars.
